Where and how to store gingerbread house

Hi I bought a "do it yourself"gingerbread house that has all the cookies and just needs to be build with icing sugar....can I make it the day before and leave it in the pantry or better in the fridge please?

I am not so sure I would leave it in the frig...? place a cardboard box over it and then wrap it in a big plastic bag and twist tie it. I keep my creations all year in a plexiglass box. It keeps it from my pets and moths, etc... Sometimes I also put in silicon beads that you can find in the shoe boxes you find when you purchase new shoes/boots..I live where it's rather humid, so it helps. Hope this helps.
