I'm storing gingerbread dough for 24hours in the refrigerator. Can I roll it immediately upon taking it out or does it need to be a room temperate for a while. If so how long to 'get the chill off'.

In fact, many gingerbread recipes call for refrigerating the dough for at least a few hours. I've kept it in the refrigerator for a week before rolling, cutting, and baking.
