It's our first

Well I've been watching the food network this year and I was inspired to give this a go. I started with a kit of course (sorry if that angers some of you ginger breaders) It was truly enjoyable maybe next year I'll try a real one? So I thought I'd surf some net and see whats out there.

So anyway here's the pic of my son's first house.

No shame in Kits

Don't feel bad about using a gingerbread kit! It's terrific to build a gingerbread house... ESPECIALLY with your kids, no matter HOW you choose to do it. The memories you're building with your son are what matters most!

Time with kids,, priceless

The kit is a great way to start, that's how I did. And believe me when I say, it's a lot of work to make the whole thing from scratch.
The time spent with your kid can't be replaced, and a kit is quality time.

OK now you have conquered the most challenging part - the decorating - now you HAVE to do it the "traditional" way, from scratch - and good luck! Well done!
