HOW TO KEEP ANTS AWAY!?

Any advice on how to keep ants away from a decorated house? In Alabama, and the ants have been getting in my house lately… I really want to build a house but want to figure this out first!

We've used the small baits for ants very successfully in the past. As soon as we see one or two (or more) ants, we'll put those little bait boxes out where we've seen them. I think the first ants in bring some of the poison back to the ant hill and they're all wiped out.

I'd wrap up the gingerbread house very well and only open it when you have people around to enjoy it.
