Haunted Gingerbread Houses for the Scouts

25 gingerbread houses were decorated by Scout Troop #73 at Ruby Major Elementary School in Hermitage, TN. The parents and scouts had a really good time. The creativity and imagination was wonderful to watch.

As always great work by my long time friend Ann Parsons Mitchell. I also had Ruby Major as a home ec. teacher. So glad she is honored with a school named for her. After teaching, she served on the board of education for many years.

Our Telented Ann

My friendship with Ann goes back to Junior High at Donelson High School. Ann is so very talented and has such a loving heart and has done an incredible job with these young scouts.

I bought one of Ann's Christmas Gingerbread Houses some years ago and used it until last year, when it finally crumbled (my fault, I didn't store it properly).

I found it interesting that the event was at Ruby Majors Elem. in Hermitage. Ruby Majors was our Home Economics teacher at Donelson.
