Recipe for Gingerbread Dough

I have these patterns and probably last made them 20 years ago! I'd like to make them again this year but I don't have the recipe for the dough -- would you mind sharing your recipe? I liked it because it didn't spread and warp the intricate designs. Many thanks!

Wilton tip #12

I cut the holes with a Wilton #12 pastry tip.I cut the rest of the pattern out using an X-ACTO Knife. I'm glad you liked it. They are fun to have around the house during the dull winter months.

I have never seen lantern from gingerbread, it is very nice, I like it :-) Especially decoration of the lantern..did you all holes cut with knife?
