My First Gingerbread House

Love the 3 windows in your design

Added a wreath on each side

Thought I would send you pictures of my very first Gingerbread House. Loved your Gingerbread Bungalow pattern! It was very well designed and the helpful tips sure came in handy! In fact the pattern was so easy to adapt, I took some artistic licence and added a porch and chimney.

I may add some greenery or landscaping next week, but not certain it needs it. As I was falling asleep last night I whispered to my husband that I may make another one next week. I'm certain I "heard him smile".

I am proud of my first attempt...may have caught the Gingerbread Fever (I have heard rumors of such things).

THE ARTIST IN YOU SURE SHINES ON THIS FIRST ATTEMPT AT GINGERBREAD HOUSE MAKING. IT DOES LOOK GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT. I LIKE THE IDEA OF SOME :LANDSCAPING BUT WOULD BE CAREFUL NOT TO DETRACT FROM THE DETAILING OF THE HOUSE ITSELF. NOW WITH THAT SAID YOU KNOW I DON'T HAVE A CREATIVE BONE IN MY BODY SO YOU WOULD KNOW BEST.
