How do you create a tall curved cylinder out of gingerbread?

In my experience, curving gingerbread needs some kind of platform that the gingerbread can rest on while it is baking in the oven. I am not sure why you are trying to curve the gingerbread or what you are using it for, but if you can make a cardboard structure the gingerbread can rest on, cover it your structure snugly with foil and tape the foil so it doesn't fall off your structure. Hope that helps . If you want a silo Type of thing, there is an easier way to do it.
