Cupcake Mountain

This year my friend gave me the idea of making a giant cupcake with people sledding and skiing down it. I added to it by putting a tunnel through with a train. I entered it in the annual Darnall's Chance Gingerbread Contest and Show this past week. The museum is located in the Maryland subarbs outside of WashingtonD.C.

This is just such a creative idea! It is certainly "out of the box", but very wonderful at the same time! How did you make the "paper" of the cupcake! Is it gingerbread? I love your Pepperment Pond. It really looks like ice. What did you use to make the water? I love all the sledders and people skiing!
