Castle Template

Every year my dad and I (daughter) make a different gingerbread house over the holidays. We started this tradition when I was about 7 years old. I am now 22! Each year we look for a creative and challenging new template to tackle. We found this template and thought it was both unique and interesting. We decided to enlarge the template by 75%. It ended up being a little bigger than we were expecting but still turned out great! The instructions were detailed and clear. The only issue we ran into was about cutting the hole for a candle in the support for the center tower. We cut the hole and made the extra tower which ended up caving in about a week later (but we also increased the size so this could have been our fault too).
